Terapi Losbak di Tegal

“The traveler sees what he/she sees. The tourist sees what he/she has come to see” - G.K. Chesterton

End of June 2012, felt bored of routines. A daily backpack is packed, I was ready to go to Tegal, Central Java. It’s all just a sudden trip, invited by my 3 friends. Had no idea about Tegal or Slawi or Brebes, I travelled to Tegal.

I enjoyed sceneries, people and many things I’ve never thought. I have no fixed destination like tourists do. Surprisingly, I got sum peaceful experiences. Great morning from foot of Mount Slamet, fresh air with no pollutant, simplicity of village life, and greeny-view.

Taman Wisata Guci, still at foot of Mount Slamet. Showering hot water in big pool, while a waterfall gives you a cold water. It’s just crowded place, but I found pines forest. Never expecting much from this city, but I got. I felt in love with its Teh Poci, sweet and warm tea. I spent my money with no worries, it’s all in cheap price. I swear! I buy hot teh poci only for Rp1000/cup, pecel only for Rp2500/plate, Rp3000/corn grilled, tempe mendoan only Rp500/slice. I’m rich girl hahahahahaha....

The unforgettable moment was, this journey we did by riding Losbak. Semacam mobil yang belakangnya bak terbuka, mobil yang suka dipakai untuk ngangkut barang-barang. Terapi Losbak yes!
